Rio de Janeiro
Simply known as the “Marvelous City”
Rio de Janeiro, Brazils most iconic city, is best known for its Carnival, which happens around January to March every year. Furthermore, the majestic Amazon rainforest and Pantanal, with thousands of animal species adds to the adventure. Not to mention the 7,400-kilometer coastline and beaches. Samba and Bossa Nova music can be heard played live in bars and restaurants, with the locals, “Cariocas”, singing along.
The world’s largest tropical wetland area
The Pantanal is a nature reserve full of many different types of species, impressive flora and fauna as well as numerous rivers and freshwater lakes. Here you can do excursions by jeep, boat, on foot and on horseback also you have the opportunity to explore this unique environment while seeing a variety of animals. If you are lucky you could see caimans, jaguars, monkeys, anteaters, tapirs and exotic birds.
In Brazil, meat is cooked in churrasco style, which translates roughly from the Portuguese word for “barbecue”. Churrasco is a traditional way of making meat in Brazil, large pieces of meat such as beef, pork and chicken are grilled on an open fire and then cut into thin slices. The meat is often seasoned with salt, pepper and other spices. Churrasco is often served with rice, beans, vegetables and a spicy Brazilian sauce. When visiting Brazil with your groups you should definetly taste this local cousine.
