Guatemala,
The heart of the Mayan world

Guatemala truly is the heart of the Mayan world. You can discover the lost Mayan cities with stone temples buried in the jungle, take a boat ride on Lake Atitlan – which is surrounded by majestic volcanoes – or visit the colonial city of Antigua, with its cobblestone streets, traditional markets and boutique hotels. Where time stands still

Antigua is one of the three most beautiful colonial cities in Latin America. It is a delight with its cobblestone streets, colorful houses, churches, monasteries, convents, fountains and beautiful squares. This picturesque town is surrounded by three massive volcanoes : Agua, Acatenango and the active Fuego. A lovely walk through its peaceful streets will lead you to many restaurants, patios, cafés, art galleries, jade jewel shops and traditional Mayan markets.

  • Tikal

    Tikal
    Echoes of the ancients

At the heart of the Peten jungle lie the majestic pyramids and stone temples of Tikal. In the 8th century AD, Tikal was the most powerful kingdom in the Mayan World. A mysterious civilization that worshiped the sun, whose kings were equal to the gods and inspired terror. Here, the refinement of advanced knowledge in astronomy, hydrology and architecture coincided with the brutality of war and human sacrifice.

  • Lake Atitlan
