Murchison Falls National ParkThe jewel on the NileMurchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest national park covering 5072 sq km established in 1926 upgraded to a national park in 1952. The falls is the central attraction in the park where the Nile river is dramatically forced through a narrow gorge of 7m falling 45m to the Devils Cauldron the mighty cascade transforms into a broad, placid river. The river is flowing across the rift-valley floor, giving visitors remarkable wildlife viewing experiences of leopard, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, Nile-crocodiles and aquatic-birds. The northern section contains savannah, borassus palms, acacia trees and riverine woodland, the south has woodland and forest patches.

Kidepo Valley National Park

Big game favorites, including elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, eland, lion, cheetah and ostrich, roam grasslands that extend towards distant mountain ranges in all directions.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Set against the backdrop of the jagged Rwenzori Mountains, the park’s magnificent features include enormous craters, forested gorges, sprawling savannah plains, swamps, rivers and the Kazinga Channel. With its banks lined with hippos, buffalo and elephants offering exceptional boat cruises. All the safari favorites such as elephants, buffaloes and hippos can be found here and the chances of finding lions on the plains of Kasenyi and Ishasha are high. Ishasha is famous for the tree climbing lions.
Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park is a compact gem close to Kampala for a short-stay visit and experience the vast herds of buffalo, topi and zebra, together with over 300 species of birds. The park has a varied mosaic of habitats and landscapes: forests, rich acacia tree valleys, savannah grasslands and swamps. Visitors to Lake Mburo enjoy game drives and boat cruises on the lake. Optional activities include quad biking, mountain biking and horse riding which offer a unique safari experience with the ability to explore the park up close and personal. En-route stop at the Equator Line crossing that passes through Uganda.
