    Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest national park covering 5072 sq km established in 1926 upgraded to a national park in 1952. The falls is the central attraction in the park where the Nile river is dramatically forced through a narrow gorge of 7m falling 45m to the Devils Cauldron the mighty cascade transforms into a broad, placid river. The river is flowing across the rift-valley floor, giving visitors remarkable wildlife viewing experiences of leopard, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, Nile-crocodiles and aquatic-birds. The northern section contains savannah, borassus palms, acacia trees and riverine woodland, the south has woodland and forest patches.

    Bwindi Impenetrable Forest park is a UNESCO site, home to Uganda’s mountain gorillas and one of the world’s most remarkable wildlife encounters. They rare and endangered total global population less than 800 individuals in Bwindi and Virunga volcanoes. 19 groups are habituated for conscious tourism only 8 permits per group, rendering this an exclusive and intimate experience. Other primates: black and white Colobus, blue monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabey and golden monkey in Mgahinga. Beyond the gorillas, Bwindi is Africa’s richest forest with 350 birds,120 mammals, 310 butterflies, 200 trees, and 51 reptiles.

    Located in the farthest and remote places in Uganda, it lays in the distant north eastern corner of Uganda bordering Kenya and South Sudan. This sparsely populated region called Karamoja represents one of Africa’s most magnificent wildernesses. It won the Best Park for 2 ears in a row because of its vast Buffalo heard. Big game favorites, including elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, eland, lion, cheetah and ostrich, roam grasslands that extend towards distant mountain ranges in all directions.
