Travelmediate is a young, dynamic, driven DMC representation team.
We know it is not always easy for event- and travel planners to find reliable, transparent and creative partners abroad. Language barriers, cultural differences and a lack of local knowledge can make it difficult to know where to go and who to work with.
This is where we come in. We are a leading international representation company, with 6 offices in the main b2b travel markets and we are specialized in leisure and incentive groups. Working with us means you can expect to be introduced to the most reliable, creative and transparent partners at your destination.
With more than 15 years experience we currently cover 7 local markets; the U.K., U.S., The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland and France and we are still growing.

If you could choose to which famous person you would be sitting next to in the plane, who would that be and what question would you ask?
As we are working always close with airlines, I would like to sit next to Sir Richard Branson. I would ask him: As a great visionair, was it a dream to let people travel to space? When are you expecting the first group travel? How many years do we have to wait until we can send our first incentive group on this spectacular route?
Who is your favourite travel buddy and why?
Travelling with my family is by far the best thing. It is a lot of fun, there’s a lot of interaction – all opinions count (even from a 2 year old) – and a lot of flexibility. Travelling together truly is a bonding experience for us.
If you were a destination, which destination would you be and why?
I believe living in Amsterdam is absolutely the best. It has 4 seasons, great festivals, historic buildings and a very nice and relaxed vibe. I have travelled around the world, but for me it’s always home sweet home.

If you could choose to which famous person you would be sitting next to in the plane, who would that be and what question would you ask?
Sean Connery – who was your favorite Bond girl and why?
Who is your favourite travel buddy and why?
Mother Saunders is definitely my favorite travel buddy. She used to work as a global project manager in telecoms and she travelled the world and brought us with her. In every country we visit there is always a long lost friend we meet and it feels like she knows the best places to eat no matter what the destination. My own personal DMC!
If you were a destination, which destination would you be and why?
Bali – slightly biased here as I’m half Indonesian – however, this island is not only an incentive dream but it is a true paradise and a foodie heaven.

If you could choose to which famous person you would be sitting next to in the plane, who would that be and what question would you ask?
Oprah Winfrey – If it was possible at all to work with her on her next charity project.
Who is your favourite travel buddy and why?
My mum. Since young we have travelled a lot together. She is so open and positive for new experiences which has shaped my outlook on life.
If you were a destination, which destination would you be and why?
India – The land of colour, rituals and architecture. To be able to indulge in immersive experiences and to celebrate life.

If you could choose to which famous person you would be sitting next to in the plane, who would that be and what question would you ask?
Julius Caesar. Firstly, it would be interesting to see him react to being on an airplane. But mostly, I’ve just always found the Roman Empire to be an interesting distant mirror to view the ebb and flow of civilization in. My question: Caesar, what are the signs that should make one worry?
Who is your favourite travel buddy and why?
My travel bag. 15 years ago I splurged a ridiculous amount on a Longchamp travel bag. I still have it, its size is flexible, shirts are guaranteed to be wrinkly upon arrival, and by now it must have mileage equal to 5 round-the-world trips. I get happy every time I take it out to pack for a trip.
If you were a destination, which destination would you be and why?
Copenhagen. Not very original, since I live here. But the mix of proximity to nature, and an easy metropolis with a down-to-earth attitude truly resonates with me. Okay, the weather sucks 5 months of the year. But the way Copenhageners revel in the sun in summer would be truly damaging for health if it was sunny all year round.

If you could choose to which famous person you would be sitting next to in the plane, who would that be and what question would you ask?
William Shakespeare. I would ask him: To be or not to be?
Who is your favourite travel buddy and why?
Family & friends, for fun
If you were a destination, which destination would you be and why?
Zanzibar, because life is a beach
Andrea Küpper
If you could choose to which famous person you would be sitting next to in the plane, who would that be and what question would you ask?
I would like to sit next to Daniel Cohn Bendit and ask him about the ideas and opportunities we need to link business and the environment. Especially for our profession it will be extremely important to find suitable opportunities.
Who is your favourite travel buddy and why?
I love to travel with my family – individually or together. We are open-minded and interested and it is more fun to gather great experiences and have exciting moments together.
If you were a destination, which destination would you be and why?
Europe – colourful, flexible, diverse, down-to-earth, relaxed, with a lot of experience, great history, moving forward and open to difference.

If you could choose to which famous person you would be sitting next to in the plane, who would that be and what question would you ask?
Tony Robbins, can I attend one of your seminars?!
Who is your favourite travel buddy and why?
I can’t choose one.. I love to travel with my girlfriend, with my family, with my friends and with my dog. They are all very special and different which results in diverse valuable experiences.
If you were a destination, which destination would you be and why?
I believe Nepal (haven’t been yet)! Because: it’s the top of the world (unlimited hiking possibilities), the population seems the sweetest on the planet, the country has a sub tropic climate with national parks for amazing wildlife safaris, the food seems delicious and you can immerse yourself in the spiritual world.

If you could choose to which famous person you would be sitting next to in the plane, who would that be and what question would you ask?
For sure Tom Hanks, one of the best actors of this time, can we get serious now?
Who is your favourite travel buddy and why?
My girlfriend – During my study I had the opportunity to travel a lot alone or with my study-friends. In the end I believe that travelling with your loved ones can make a destination even more mythical.
If you were a destination, which destination would you be and why?
I think this will be Malaga, Spain. The first time I visited this destination I was amazed by the very pleasant climate, even in March it was around 23 degrees. The people, the food and the culture made me come back several times already. The people seem to have a peacefull life and the word tranquilo has been told to me more than once.

If you could choose to which famous person you would be sitting next to in the plane, who would that be and what question would you ask?
I have two – Princess Diana and Mother Teresa – What do you think of how the world is changing?
Who is your favourite travel buddy and why?
Although I’ve been traveling mostly alone on business trips, I might say that my female friends are the ones I love traveling with. We enjoy spending time together, visit new destinations and capture beautiful moments. Never a dull moment when with my girls.
If you were a destination, which destination would you be and why?
Costa Rica – eco-friendly, thanks to its rich biodiversity and abundant wildlife, splendid beaches that spill into sparkling blue waters, ancient civilizations.

If you could choose to which famous person you would be sitting next to in the plane, who would that be and what question would you ask?
Stevie Nicks – What and where was her favourite Fleetwood Mac performance. To be honest I think I would have a list of questions for Stevie!
Who is your favourite travel buddy and why?
My best friend Nicola, as we have some of the most amazing experiences together, we laugh ALOT and both bring very different ideas and plans to the table. We both have very different personalities but therefore balance each other out when it comes to planning our trips as we like different things. She will hike up mountains with me and I will sit in swanky cocktail bars with her. Oh and my dog, I do love a road trip with my dog too!
If you were a destination, which destination would you be and why?
I’d probably say Hong Kong! It’s a bright, colorful vibrant city full of a mix of cultures. There are amazing hiking routes, the bustle of the city and the more laid back areas such as Lamma Island (my favourite).
