Raymon (Founder Travelmediate) inspected Morocco. Read here his experience.
“It was a privilege to start the new year with my family in magic Morocco and experience a part of this beautiful country in collaboration with our DMC partner KTI Events.

Desert

What a pleasure to start the first day of the new year in Agafay desert camp area! Where I found tranquility, luxury and a cold swim 🙂 just a short drive from the bustling streets of Marrakesh. Nestled at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, I felt an oasis of comfort in the heart of this semi-desert terrain. Agafay offers a taste of the desert with a twist of elegance. The camp is and exquisite blend of Berber-style tents and modern luxury, designed to provide guests with a unique desert experience without compromising on comfort. Tip: on the way to the Agafay desert, stop for a delicious lunch at the restaurant Le Relais du Lac in Lalla Takerkoust.

Coast

After an impressive 4 hour drive I reached Imsouane. As an outdoor person, I love to be in the ocean and surf, so the Magic Bay of Imsouane was definitely on my list to explore. Imsouane is an idyllic coastal village where time slows down and the rhythm of life is dictated by the gentle ebb and flow of the sea. And magic it was, regarding to the beautiful longboard waves. On the other hand, the bustling surf scene can sometimes feel like it disrupts the authentic tranquility, but maybe it was also due to the busy holiday season.

The next stop was Essaouira, where history, art and the soothing rhythm of the ocean come together in perfect harmony. Often referred to as “the windy city” due to its constant breeze, Essaouira has a distinct charm that feels almost timeless. Beyond the market and medina, Essaouira is a hub for creativity. It has long attracted artists, musicians and writers. Its laid-back vibe nurtures the free spirit of all who visit. The town hosts numerous art galleries, (cooking) workshops and artisan shops, next to lovely restaurants for delightful dining experiences.

Group Activities

Due to the several impressive activities in a beautiful landscape scenery, Morocco is a desired incentive destination! The hot air balloon experience, offers a unique perspective of the landscape. From the rugged peaks of the Atlas to the vast, golden plains that stretch out beneath you.

Our last Travelmediate event, made me think about creating a positive impact in small steps and try to become more conscious during my travels. During the Quad tour experience, the landscape was insane beautiful, but also confronting to see all the plastic. Let’s combine a small beach clean up in combination with a great Quad tour, it is a start at least. “Tourism can make the world a better place and be a powerful force for good. Let’s try to start somewhere with our local partners to manage properly by the communities that receive guests.” (Anna Pollock/conscious travel)

City Marrakesh

The vibrant colors, intoxicating smells and sounds of the medina (old town) create a sensory overload that’s both overwhelming and exhilarating. The team at KTI Events helped us navigate through the maze-like streets, guiding us to the best markets, exquisite palaces and secret gardens that Marrakesh is known for. Marrakesh is a city of incredible contrasts—where ancient palaces and modern restaurants stand side by side, where luxury meets tradition and where the old world fuses seamlessly with the new. Whether you’re wandering through the labyrinthine souks, sipping mint tea in a rooftop café, or watching the sunset over the Atlas Mountains, Marrakesh is a destination that feels as timeless as it is alive. Let your group experience this! Thank you KTI Events!
