If you could choose a famous person to sit next to in a plane, who would that be and what question would you ask?
If I could choose anyone to sit next to on a plane, it would be Richard Branson — because who wouldn’t want a travel buddy who might just invite you to his private island for a cup of coffee? With his adventurous spirit and running a business emporium, I’m sure the conversation would be inspiring. My question for him would be: "What key habits or practices/strategies help you stay balanced between your busy work life and your personal wellbeing?" After all, managing a global empire while keeping grounded, growing as a person and having fun on the way, feels like something you need to balance.
Who is your favourite travel buddy and why?
First of all, that will be my family. My daughter, my girlfriend and my bonus daughter and son. Especially the skiing holiday is the best there is. Being outside all day, being active together and have the same great feeling and experience. But I have to admit, is also a lot of hard work being on holiday with your kids :-).
If you were a destination, which destination would you be and why?
Indonesia > for the great food. And because my daughter is a quarter Moluccan. Spain > because of the nice weather, the great beaches, the tapas and the beautiful mountains where I love to ride my bike. Austria > for the fresh Alpine air, the snow and the excellent Après Ski.
