In April this year, in collaboration with our DMC partner VAOVA Travel<\/a> and <\/a>PROCOLOMBIA<\/a>, I (Raymon Honings) went on an 8-day FAM-trip throughout the country of Colombia!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bogot\u00e1 & Cartagena<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Together with a lovely group, we started our journey in Bogot\u00e1, where we had site visits, enjoyed a delicious dinner at Flora, took a colorful Downtown City Tour and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After leaving Bogot\u00e1 behind, our group continued on to the \u2018Jewel of the Caribbean\u2019: Cartagena. This gorgeous destination offered us the chance to sail in Cartagena Bay and experience an African heritage celebration. We embarked on a fishing trip through the mangroves, participated in a Caribbean cooking class, explored the walled city and ended the day with a Caribbean vibes celebration!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medell\u00edn<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We spent our final days in Medell\u00edn, a city known for its tasty coffee, intriguing history and vibrant street art. We searched for our own coffee beans and found a local Farm to process into delicious coffee tastings. The next day, we explored Medell\u00edn, admired and created graffiti art and took part in a tech activity to learn about innovation and social impact in the city and throughout Colombia<\/a>. All in all, it was an inspiring end to the journey, in which we witnessed Medell\u00edn\u2019s transformation from a turbulent city into a resilient and developing metropolis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
